What year did you start riding and why?
1994, but more so into 1995. I started riding bikes due to the disgust I developed towards sports. The coaches, I hate to be taught, I like to learn, myself. BMX gives that.
Why didn’t you like street riding when you started in your early BMX days?
I was under the impression that only racing and dirt jumping was cool. My brother also had me convinced that freestylers sucked and were goofy.

Kris Bennett, Jimmy Levan, Mike “Weasel” Still, Mike Rotondo, Wilbur Barrick.
Who are your top 5 favorite riders to watch in 2010?
Colt Fake, Kert Petersel, Albie Bennett, Abdual, and a toss between Brian Yeagle and Geoff Slattery.
Who do you ride with the most?
I ride mostly with Ferbert, Chris Crawford, Karter, Albie, Party Management, and Lee Hopkins.
Name one thing that you wish would disappear from BMX.
What would you like to see more of in BMX?
Loose cannons and more rock n’ roll oriented atmospheres, more footwork and crashes. Too many dialed riders these days.

I’ve lost faith in new places to ride, but anywhere in Scandinavia seems taste.

Sean Burns could well be the greatest test dummy for any parts brand ever. He came to us with a strong idea about a solid stem that could hold up against a variety of big drops and rail hops. For the Burn Stem, we created a fully CNC machined 6061-T6 alloy stem with a unique offset rear for enhanced clamping (easily flipped too).
Now with refined shape and larger head bolt for better clamping power, this classic stem has never gripped so good. If you plan on going big, get something that’s going to take the impact.
